**Job Description**:
**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**
- Leads & coordinates all activities necessary to fulfill the production schedule of assigned area, taking care about safety & product quality requirements as per control plan.
- Manufactures products by supervising staff, organizing, monitoring workflow, assuring standards follow up.
**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Defines training needs for the manufacturing personnel of assigned production line to achieve and maintain the necessary competence, knowledge, discipline, and skill levels.
- ** Ensures that procedures and instructions are followed by manufacturing personnel, including safety and environmental guidelines.**:
- Supports continuity throughout working shifts.
- Responsible in his/her shift for product quality level of manufacturing.
- Provide and support Bosch Production System, Policy Deployment, and teamwork.
- Continuously improves quality, cost, productivity, uptime of machinery, turnover, absenteeism.
- ** Communicates plant goals, policies, information to manufacturing personnel.**:
- Supports manufacturing personnel in communication with plant's organization.
- Promotes and supports Safety, Quality and Environment plant goals.
- ** Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources.**
**Qualifications**:
**EDUCATION & ACADEMIC BACKGROUND**
- Bachelor's degree, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Preferable 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- Experience with SAP (System production module administration & Manufacturing personnel administration).
- Experience with Heijunka / Production monitoring.
- Consumption control & PMR.
- MTM & Ergonomics.
- Problem solving methods (8D, fish bone, 5Whys, 6 Sigma/Shainin, IS/IS NOT...).
- Follow through customer requirements.
- Moderation and communication/negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationships.
- Ability to use inductive and deductive reasoning.
