Our **Engineering area **is formed by a consolidated team that works nationally and internationally in the basic and detailed design of renewable energy projects. Its mission is to ensure that these designs meet the highest quality standards to maximize the profitability of our client's projects.
We also have a specialized team that acts as Property Engineering and supervises the construction and commissioning phases of the projects, reporting the progress of work and ensuring the quality of the work in the different disciplines: civil, electrical and mechanical engineering.
We are currently looking for **a Project Engineer **to join our Engineering team in **México. **In this role, you will collaborate closely with our **USA team**, contributing your expertise to projects spanning the United States.
The principal **duties and responsibilities** include the following:
- Develop conceptual and detailed electrical engineering designs for photovoltaic solar energy projects, including rooftop, parking lot, and large-scale installations.
- Review and provide feedback on electrical designs and/or construction of PV solar energy projects.
- Analyze and offer insights on equipment used in potential renewable energy projects.
- Assist Project Managers in managing consultancy, engineering, and testing projects as assigned.
- Assess and analyze production data provided by clients.
- Continuous evaluation of process improvements for technical due diligence reports.
- Manage internal and external deadlines and expectations as needed.
- Ensure the highest level of quality assurance and control.
**What do we need?**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Three to five years of overall experience in one or more of the following fields:
- Solar PV design, including residential, commercial, or utility-scale.
- Design of large-scale photovoltaic systems.
- Field construction in the solar PV sector.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English at a technical level.
- Familiarity with NOM and/or NEC code is desirable.
- Experience with AutoCAD is highly desirable.
- Experience with power analysis and electrical design software such as ETAP is desirable.
- Experience with PVsyst and other modeling software like Homer is an advantage.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal government regulatory requirements for solar development, construction, and operation.
