.JOB SUMMARYThe Technical Project Manager is the natural leader for equipment, process and product transferences and new product introduction, interacts with key Customers and serves as their primary interface with the different stakeholders at Vexos. The Project Manager works in the introduction of new technologies, transactional systems implementation and leads, coordinates, monitors, and leverages other groups such as Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and Materials to meet their internal and external customers' needs and requirements.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESManage project staff and provide technical direction, focusing on manufacturing, quality, and safety.Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, schedules, resources, and budgets.Communicate project objectives, detailed plans and expectations to team members, stakeholders and contractors. Establish KPIs to monitor and track project progress and its report.Coordinate with departments and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of NPI's and smooth transfer of products or processes to Juarez, either from a VEXOS twin plant or from a customer.Systematically follow the PMI handbook.Deliver project information, documentation and training materials to internal manufacturing stakeholders and peers, entering into the QMS or appropriate system.Facilitate regular project meetings to review status, resolve issues, and update stakeholders.Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.Develop and manage project budgets, coordinate RFQs and develop equipment specifications, and coordinate equipment and process qualifications.Document lessons learned and create project closure reports.SKILLS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS5-10 years of successful project management experience accountable for one or more of the following functions: Engineering, Quality and/or Manufacturing.Experience in new product introduction and change management (development, industrialization, or similar) in EMS and/or a mid to low volume electronics OEM.Strong SMT and electronic integration process and/or product knowledge, with broad understanding of test, industrial engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain etc., including product/process transferences and new process introduction.Strong leadership, interpersonal & communication skills.Excellent time management & project management skills.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Proactive and ability to work in a team environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with a proven track record to put ideas/proposals across to others effectively.BS Degree or above in Engineering.Project Management certification or equivalent experience.Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO would be an asset.Fluent in English (written and spoken).Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience
