The QA Coordinator will lead the QA monitoring for specific accounts and work closely with project managers, linguists, designers and QA specialists to ensure that all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. This role requires a deep understanding of localization processes, skills in feedback sharing, commitment to quality and an internal drive for continuous improvement.We are looking for candidates in Latin America with the ability to work from 8-5 PST.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSets the quality assurance framework for translation and layout work for an account/client, to ensure consistency of practices across languages and that the content edited and/or translated by the department is always fit for purpose.Monitors the results of Quality Control in order to understand the level of service that is being provided to the client.Shares Quality Control results and relevant feedback with the production team (PM team, linguists, designers, QA specialists).Provides the linguistic, layout, and QA teams with coaching and development activities to ensure an effective and efficient team and proper execution of activities and plans.Organizes and leads the development of onboarding and upskilling training for freelancers.Leads and oversees the creation, dissemination, and use of internal guidelines to ensure the quality and consistency of the final output.Creates written recommendations for workflow and production improvements.Fosters a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Skills and QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance within the localization or translation industry.Skills:Deep understanding of localization processes, including translation, DTP, layout QA and linguistic validation.Strong knowledge of QA tools, methodologies, and best practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
