.**Position Objectives**:To ensure that the company's products and processes meet established quality standards and outputs by identifying shortfalls, designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions. Including meeting individual and departmental performance targets set by the company such as safety, delivery, quality, productivity.**Main activities**:- Monitor and improve product quality by making recommendations for change- Work together with relevant teams and departments to improve products- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of product assurance plans and inspection methods providing feedback to corrective and preventative actions to engineering, manufacturing, service and field operations and supplier performance- Be part of product qualification team, supporting quality related activities- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), including PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plan creation- Follow up of corrective action reports, including customer complaints- Ensure products adhere to company and industry quality standards- Support internal / external audits activities- Lead, motivate and develop the team through the provision of instructions and guidance to ensure departmental/site performance targets are met- Promote the sharing or ideas and 'Best practice' throughput teams, departments, and wider organisation.- Achieve departmental KPI's (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity etc.).- Attend and actively contribute to production meetings when required.**Skills and competences requiered**:- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice.- Able to work efficiently in a team environment.- Written and verbal communication skills.- Attention to detail.- Blueprint reading (GD&T).**Knowledge and experience**:- **Successful development and implementation of the Inspection production system- Continual flow of inspection meeting demands- Improving trend across Inspection focused KPI's- Coordination of First Off completion to meet Business demand- Successful adoption of the Customer quality standards and requirements.- Improvements across the Inspection area.**Minimum General requirements**- Degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering- 2+ years of experience in quality related role and product development such as PPAP, APQP- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent project management skills- Experience with measuring devices such as micrometers, callipers, and other measuring instrumentsTipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSalario: $600.00 - $900
