.Your Job To plan, coordinate, and administer the required Quality functions.Our TeamAccountable in providing Guadalajara Management team data support and facilitation of customer quality related issues. Has the authority to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the quality management process is maintained and improved.What You Will Do- Maintain a safe work environment and good housekeeping practices (6S).- Lead efforts to improve Quality performance metrics (QN, Scrap, Non-conforming material and Sorting). Organize and oversee the tabulation of summary information for management and customer reports. Help to support & drive Zero-Defect mentality throughout the department.- Respond to customer issues by deploying appropriate containment actions and / or corrective actions. Interface directly with customers in a timely and professional manner. Prepare detailed 8D reports.- Provide guidance in the development and analysis of inspection requirements, gaging criteria, SAP requirements, product processing techniques & methodologies.- Plan, execute, analyze and report on product/process change evaluations as well as production problems using appropriate statistical tools.- Work with AQP Engineers, Design Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers on qualification, PPAP, and Safe-Launch of new and existing products. Participate and support the APQP process.- Ensure that FMEA, control plan, and process flow documentation are effectively deployed in production and that requirements are periodically reviewed for all processes. Developing the inspection routines for process and final audits.- Actively support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and programs.- Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Quality and Environmental systems by following stated policies and procedures including compliance to Quality Mgt systems, IATF 16949, and Customer Specific Requirements.- Contribute as a member of the internal audit team.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications )- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, quality, or management field.- Minimum of two years' experience in automotive manufacturing or quality-related field, or equivalent education and training.- Molding and Assemblies processWhat Will Put You Ahead- Training or experience in high-speed automated manufacturing.- Certification standards and auditing.- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and related standards.- Quality system auditingWho We AreAs a Koch company, Molex is a leading supplier of connectors and interconnect components, driving innovation in electronics and supporting industries from automotive to health care and consumer to -data communications.
