The Quality Manager will be responsible for driving the manufacturing and the inre location for capable production processes and best in class results on Quality, Environment, Health and safety.
Leads Quality objectives to support the introduction and ongoing support of new products introduced to the production facility, represents product Safety as a quality representative, facilitates stop delivery or production in case of safety risks and/or failures with high exposure through CAPA facilitation and leadership, support and/or Lead the development, planning, implementation and maintenance of the integrated management system (IMS) including Quality, Environment, Health and Safety Systems across the entire organization in (DEFINE MANUFACTURING LOCATION) and if applicable, take the accountability for the ISO17025 certified laboratory as specified in the ISO norm as well as specified from the regultary bodies.Serve as Quality Lead to effectively and continuously improve the performance and the level of maturity across all functions and locations of the mentioned organization.Core area of responsibility:Drive the implementation of quality tools and techniques (such as Six-Sigma, P-FMEA, DMAIC, SPC, pareto analysis, Ishikawa diagrams, 8D, CAPA, SCAR) for solving problems and continuously improve the manufacturing processes output and to reduce the non conformance costs (NCC)Conduct ISO or VDA based audits, safety audits, reports findings and assists, tracks actions related to the implementation of the corrective measuresSupport the delivery of all the internal PQP, Quality Plans, PPAP requirements of NPI projectsLead the Manufacturing Quality Team to create and sign-off all internal PPAPs, authorizing the release of parts and processes to the required quality and quantityWork closely with all external and internal stakeholders to influence product and process robustnessUtilizes the Corrective/Preventative Action system in conjunction with the Supplier Corrective Action System to ensure quality issues are managed and communicated at the appropriate management levelsContinuous Improvement Project identification and implementation; for product and manufacturing process improvementsWork seamlessly with Supplier Quality to develop suppliers accordingly to improve our incoming quality, if needed trigger escalation processHires, manages and educates staff in Quality Principles and practices Serves as a functional leader for Regional and Corporate Quality initiatives pertaining to product and process quality within the manufacuring environment and to the end customers Trains and supports PPAP and statistical process control for Manufacturing and Test activitiesTrain for the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in carrying out best practices relating to quality, health & safety requirements and environmental conditionsLead the Quality Team and QEHS function (as requried) in the plant and develop the team to high performanceLeads the Manufacturing Quality Team in supporting applicable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiativesCreate reports and KPIs to monitor the achievement against commitments and objectives.
Lead formal efforts to communicate performance results at required intervals (i.e.
Quality Review Boards, CEO Reports etc.
