Role PurposeProvides technical support to front-line workforce and manufacturing engineers making products in an industrial environment. Works hands-on with manufacturing equipment and activities. Identifies and supports process improvements. Uses judgment, experience and initiative to resolve problems and make recommendations. May help determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Quality Engineering on implementing and maintaining Quality systems to meet the requirements of production, ISO 9001 and TL 9000Support Engineering in the Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns and Customer notifications receivedResponsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen, lean methods, etc.Support training to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management systemCreate and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality alerts, etc.Monitor and report CTQ's performance in the processes (i.E. SPC)Support statistical analysis to engineering and production as related to quality issues.Develop and assurance of measurement systems thru the use of statistical tools (i.E. GR&R)Ability to execute process audit, prepare reportExperiences/Education - RequiredIndustrial, mechanical or mechatronics technical degreeor years of labor experience as Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Engineering degree.5 years of experience in similar position.
