.Job DescriptionWe are currently searching for a new team member in the role as Regional NPM Specialist IAMER (f/m/d).
This role is expected to process NPM purchasing carts and projects and to look for synergies across the region among different plants for certain material categories.
Skills regarding systems and procedures are required.The position contains the following tasks and responsibilities:Job description in detailQuality and timely procurement of non-production materials "NPM" and services, at optimal prices or within the planned budget, in defined areas, according to existing purchasing guidelines for ContiTech.Complete handling of the ordering process via CEOS and SAP.Steer and monitor the creation of catalogues and automated replenishment for plant coded items, while promoting the use of existing ones, if applicable.Preparing and conducting tenders, offer comparisons, and contract negotiations for procurement in the defined subject areas; create and compile Sourcing Decision Sheets, ensure BPCoC and NDA signatures, collect financial and commercial records, identify, select and develop vendors.Definition & deployment of subject-related material, group strategies in alignment with Group Purchasing strategy and Global and Regional Category Managers.Setting up cost improvement projects and tracking the achievement of goals as well as global cooperation / strategy / synergy development with different company locations.Preparation of procurement data for reporting.Starting point for contracts/agreements settlements, in partnership with Legal, plant and other regional purchasing roles and plants manufacturing, engineering and R&D teams.
To ensure these agreements are created, approved, executed and communicated to the regions and plants.Escalation to Plant Purchasing and internal customers on commercial issues.Work on PUR KPIs improvement and automation opportunities.Identify, report to P&S team and eventually conduct trainings regarding policy, processes and specific action plans regarding purchasing strategies.Strengthen relationships and build trust between stakeholders and the Purchasing team by developing a clear communication and feedback culture.Ensure plants are fully integrated and in line with our policies by deploying a consistent plan of training, follow up and results tracking.Additional InformationAt Continental, we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico.
