Join the technology company that's transforming the future of mobility today.About this positionWe are currently looking for an experienced Regulation & Standardization Expert for our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment in our Monterrey in Mexico location.Included in the System, Product and Vehicle Architecture group, the R&S team is representing Aptiv globally in the relevant US institutions to understand and influence the automotive Regulations & Standards publications and trends but also guarantees the diffusion of the R&S information inside the company.The position requires business trips (30%) and interactions with various Aptiv engineering sites globally.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and monitor the North America Regulations & Standards ecosystem.Actively support strategic R&S organizations: MEMA, ASC, AutoInnovators, ISO, SAE, NHTSA, NCAP, Consumer associations (e.G. AAA).Provide informed opinions and reports on R&S trends.Coordinate Aptiv efforts to prepare and drive regulations & standards submissions.Drive AS&Ux knowledge on R&S (roadmaps, reporting, training).Foster obtaining and providing interpretive assistance of applicable regulations and international standards.Deal with different product lines: ADAS / ADS, body, cockpit. Competencies: safety, cybersecurity, AI / ML, OTA, EMC / RF.QualificationsEngineering degree with strong experience in the automotive industry.Knowledge of worldwide and/or North America Regulations and Standards ecosystem.Ability to communicate internally and externally as well as create and maintain a sustainable network.Ability to listen, learn, analyze, negotiate and influence decision-makers.Analytical mind and clear reporting.Team spirit and high motivation degree.Ability to prioritize based on corporate guidelines and strive to drive projects to success.Fluent in English.We offerFreedom and interesting tasks in an environment where work is fun and where you can analyze world-changing problems and develop solutions.We value our employees as the most important part of our company.We offer flexible and family-friendly working hours.We compensate according to your degree and experience.We enable a variety of training opportunities
