Remote Bookkeeper

**Responsibilities**:- Maintain accurate records of tenant monthly rents received/due- Enter vendor invoices- Review Owner accounts and processes monthly Owner disbursements in Appfolio Property Management System- Process move-out accounting ie. Security Deposit Dispositions- Post bank deposits and applies payments/credits to customer accounts or appropriate GL accounts- Prepare yearly 1099s- Assist with monthly reconciliations- Research discrepancies in accounting transactions- Assist with special accounting projects as needed- Perform other duties as assigned- Analyze the general ledger and ensure it is accurate and balanced- Interacting with management, customers, vendors, and customers**Requirements**:- Excellent analytical, computational, and mathematical abilities- Excellent English both written and verbal- Proficient in bookkeeping programs & related PM software ie. Appfolio- 2 years of accounting experience.- Knowledge of computer software, ie. QuickBooks, GSuite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google), and MS Office.- Independent Initiative- Positive Team Player - Communicate and work well with the team.You can get up to 8USD per hour, plus other incentives.**Salary**: $139.00 - $159.00 per hour**Experience**:- Accounting: 2 years (required)**Language**:- English (required)License/Certification:- Quickbooks certification (preferred)
