**Your mission at Sistema.bio**:
The Sales Manager is responsible for launching in new lines for (sales & mkt strategy, mkt segmentation, training, deloping a sales platform from scratch) accelerating the growth of Sistema.bio's business in new geographies to achieve our impact targets, by designing, prospecting and developing business plans, covering sales quotas, revenue and expense control.
**You'll be in charge of**:
- Leading the execution of the company's overall marketing strategy (specifically fertilizer sales) in the assigned territory.
- Developing new Partner relationships and proactively working with Sistema.bio's delivery team.
- Conduct data-driven analysis of our conversion rates, sales channels and marketing activities to inform strategy and ensure continuous improvement.
- Generate annual business budget and control monthly operating expensesWorking closely with the communications team to develop publicity material for approaching impact organizations, and providing input on communications and messaging in brochures, website etc. with implications for business partnerships.
- Plan and ensure achievement of sales objectives (volume/value, product/territory-wise, new/focus product,
- Customer details & profile) for new partnerships and clients.
- Managing reports and dashboards (sales) Representing Sistema.bio at meetings with potential partners and external events.
**More about YOU**:
- Degree in Business Adminstration, Economics, International Business Management, Agricultural business or related field.
- Demonstrated passion to empower smallholder farmers through climate smart technology.
- Previous sales experience with a focus on fertilizers or chemicals.
- Experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy planning and development and business management.
- Data-driven, goal-oriented, and focused on achieving business goals.
- Strong professional verbal, written, visual communication and presentation skills
- Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategy and decision making
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a strong team culture and build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Must be comfortable self-managing multiple priorities and partners concurrently, thrive in the face of change and uncertainty, and be motivated to drive projects forward
- Positive, encouraging, collaborative attitude
- Ability to work with a multicultural team
