This position is accountable for managing a profile of large customers and end user/owners In Mexico and Central American Region to maintain and increase sales/growth and market share for the P&M Division. Position will serve as the single point of contact and will manage customer relationships, project management, procurement, and coordinate pricing across Regions/Sales Areas. Ultimately, the goal of this position is to make Sherwin-Williams the primary supplier for their respective regional accounts for all protective and marine coating coatings and products.
Will work with the Sales Managers and adjacent Account Managers to ensure that multiple customer locations receive the same level of service & program offerings. The Account Manager must be able to effectively utilize resources, marketing, technical, and work with Sales Manager-Pipe to meet customer expectations and achieve long-term sales/market growth. Will work with Sales Manager-Pipe to create awareness of new products to serve customer needs.
Will manage between $10MM-$25MM of assigned large customers (coatings applicators) with a market potential of $50MM in sales. Will also manage relationships, specification development/positioning, and project management of assigned End User/Owner accounts or Pipe Distributors within regional line-pipe market.

- Commercial including P&L Responsibility for assigned accounts.
- Technical resource for assigned accounts.
- Execute on marketing programs at the assigned accounts and related business.
- Develop strategies to increase market share at each assigned location.
- The go-to person for these Regional or Divisional customers, single point of contact.
- Negotiating contractual agreements with the assigned accounts.
- Development and maintaining of customer communications, number of facilities and locations.
- Development and maintenance of customer pricing and customer/owner coatings specifications.
- Represent Sherwin-Williams at appropriate industry related tradeshows and conferences.
Formal Education: Bachelors in Business, Engineering, or similar
Knowledge & experience:
Required:
- Ability to work with all levels of the P&M Sales/Marketing Organization
- Ability to work with P&M Technical Organization
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of the Oil and Gas Line Pipe Market/network, including any of the following: Midstream Pipeline Operations, Subsea/Offshore Pipeline Operations, Pipeline Distribution Market, Coating Inspection, API Steel Pipe Manufacturing.

- Ability to gather and ship samples for technical analysis
Preferred:
- Ability to make onsite technical recommendations to solve customer issues and improve customer coating operations, also manage customers operational cost savings opportunities.
- AMPP (formerly NACE) Coatings Inspector Program (CIP) Level 1 Certification
