Idyllic Enterprises is seeking a Scientific Technician/Food Technologist to join our growing team in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This position will report directly to our Food Scientist. The Scientific Technician/Food Technologist will collect samples and perform multiple tests to include microbial, allergen, protein content, pH, water activity and sensory tests on raw materials and finished products. You will analyze the test results and communicate findings to the Food Scientist to determine next steps in the overall research and plan. The Scientific Technician/Food Technologist will create and maintain logs used to perform internal audits to ensure other departments are following FDA and GMP regulations. This position will also assist in the preparation of mandatory audits of the facility by researching, creating and applying the regulations set by all applicable regulatory agencies.
