Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience as a technical security professional.
2 years of experience managing a team of engineering or security operations professionals for an organization.
Experience with threat modeling.
Ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.
Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred Qualifications:5 years of technical experience as an individual contributor security professional.
About the JobThe Detection team develops and maintains the signals, tools, and infrastructure that we use, constantly evolving them to match sophisticated attackers.
As part of this team, you will be conducting and leading others in security analysis, threat hunting, as well as malware and indicator analysis. We are responsible for handling all malicious activity on Google's networks. We perform deep analysis of threats on our enterprise, production, and cloud environments.
In this role, you will manage a team responsible for intrusion detection and incident response. You will also be responsible for growing and developing talent while providing and setting direction for the team, and leading effectively.

Help define and execute strategy for detecting malicious activity from ever-evolving adversaries.
Conduct ongoing detailed data analysis and risk assessment, security incident analysis, and overall outlook for the program.
