The Security Training Coordinator is responsible for all enterprise security awareness initiatives. The individual creates and leads an effective program designed to change employee behavior as it relates to information security. The Security Training Coordinator works under the direction of security leadership to drive effective security awareness through all business groups.

The role requires technical aptitude and business acumen, as well as the ability to work with diverse teams. The Security Training Coordinator works with multiple areas to develop methods for raising awareness, providing education, and measuring outcomes indicating employee behavioral change. In addition, the individual must be comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment to drive change into the business without disrupting business objectives. This position requires knowledge of techniques to gain influence, garner support, and motivate employees to action. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with all levels, from executive and business group leadership to staff.

**Essential Job Duties**
- Please make sure all regulatory and compliance requirements for security awareness are met.
- Extend beyond regulations to drive behavioral change into the business and inspire a security culture.
- Develop relationships with all lines of business and identify business unit security awareness champions to help influence the importance of the program into the enterprise.
- Communicate effectively, demonstrating marketing and corporate communication skills.
- Create innovative security awareness campaigns using solution provider and custom developed tools designed to be flexible and adaptable across an employee population diverse in function, culture, and language.
- Create baseline foundational campaigns required for all employees, but also adapt and tailor campaigns to focus on role-specific requirements.
- Leverage multiple delivery methods (e.g., print, video, in-person, gamification, social, and computer-based training) to accommodate different employee comprehension capabilities.
- Align the security awareness program with the enterprises greatest risks and measure the impact in risk reduction.
- Generate and execute strategic vision designed to reduce employee, contractor, and thirdparty risk.
- Create tactical initiatives designed to address enterprise risk as it relates to employee access.
- Align employee education with the security incident response plan and team for additional actionable internal intelligence.
- Produce periodic, high-quality reports illustrating program status, areas for improvement and success attributes aligning to the business.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Experience**
- 2-3 years information security, IT, marketing, communications, or adult education experience.
- Technical background with an understanding of security threats.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and the ability to influence from a marketing and sales perspective.
- Strong project management skills and organizational skills.
- Experience managing computer-based training and learning management systems (LMS), preferably Moodle.
- Ability to work in a constantly changing environment under tight deadlines.
- Ability to switch from independent work to group activities with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Track record of acting with integrity, taking pride in work, seeking to excel, being curious and adaptable, and communicating effectively.
- Experience with one or more of the following: NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITECH, SOX,
- GDPR, CCPA, CIS, or SOC 2 experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux.

**Education Requirements**
- Preferably higher education or equivalent industry experience.

**Certification Requirements**
- CISSP (Associate), CISM, or other security certifications preferred, but not required
