.Zendesk is seeking an empathetic customer marketer who has a passion for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams to find, tell, and promote inspiring customer stories.You will work cross-functionally to source and secure Zendesk customers to speak at global events. You'll become an expert in our most impactful and unique use cases and build compelling speaking sessions that deliver these narratives to customers, prospects, and industry experts.With keen attention to detail and proven analytical skills, you will contribute to creating a cohesive customer engagement program that unites the Zendesk customer voice with storytelling.You will partner with stakeholders in PR, PMM, Sales, and Success to expand our reference and engagement pipeline. You will help drive business by supporting the sales reference program at Zendesk.What you'll be doingDefine, develop, and oversee the creation & execution of customer-led sessions at global events (digital & in-person).Partner with our global sales and success leaders to identify and source customers for use in stories, videos, events, analyst engagements, and media opportunities.Develop and promote content to increase visibility of customer proof points and stories throughout the organization.Partner with the Communications, Product Marketing, Brand, and Content teams to ensure Customer Marketing materials meet Zendesk editorial standards and consistency.Drive business and support sales through the contribution to managing the Zendesk sales reference program.What you bring to the roleStrong interpersonal skills to work closely with the customer marketing team, cross-functional partners, customers, and company leadership.Team-player attitude—your enthusiasm will get others to participate in our programs and be our advocates within their teams.Analytical experience to assist in regular reporting & success tracking.Exceptional project management and prioritization skills - you'll be managing multiple timelines with different partners.Customer-focused with enthusiasm & empathy for genuinely improving how businesses serve and engage people.A collaborative teammate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.BA/BS required.Basic Qualifications:8+ years proven experience in developing highly impactful content at a fast-paced US-based SaaS or B2B technology company.4+ years in customer marketing, or similar role.Outstanding writing & editing capabilities, including exceptional grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills.Professional proficiency in English.Exceptional project management, prioritization, and attention to detail—you'll be managing multiple timelines with different stakeholders.Knowledge and experience with marketing and CRM tools.BA/BS required in Marketing, Business, or other related field.Writing sample will be required
