.Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico. The client is a retail technology company reinventing the way people shop. They help the partners redefine how shoppers discover products and make purchasing decisions in a digitally-driven world. The client does this by connecting North America's best retailers and CPG manufacturers to millions of high-intent shoppers each week, sharing savings and deals content to help make life more affordable. The app is used by millions of shoppers every week to make better purchase decisions to save on their weekly shopping. They have over 500 team members worldwide and are partnered with the largest retailers in the world, including Walmart, Target, Kroger, Macy's, and Dollar General. The strategic media partnerships include Google, Facebook, Twitter, MSN, CBS, and over 450 newspaper publishers. You will work alongside the engineering team to design and develop features, fix bugs, review code, and write and create automated tests for one or more of the client's systems to provide business value to the company. You will have the opportunity to provide technical leadership and guide the team in making technical decisions and developing solutions. In this role, you'll play an integral part in guiding the design of large projects, providing mentorship for all developers, and contributing to more significant technical initiatives across the engineering organization.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.- 5+ years of experience in iOS development with Objective-C, Swift, or Xcode.- 5+ years of experience with relational databases or other data storage mechanisms.- Expertise in building mobile UIs.- Proven track record of shipping high-quality code and delivering high-quality features.- High growth expectations for yourself and your team and a willingness to push yourself and your team to achieve them.- Experience providing technical mentorship to junior team members.Will be a plus:- Experience driving cross-functional projects across multiple teams.- Experience with CI/CD pipeline.Responsibilities:- Design software systems, web user experiences, and microservices to implement improvements and new capabilities for systems owned by the team and architectural design improvements to an event-driven microservice architecture.- Research and determine the appropriate technologies the team should use to solve problems and implement features and work with staff engineers to develop solutions to broader organization-wide design issues.- Mentor other engineers on more minor design issues within the team, break down significant features and projects into manageable units of work to distribute to the rest of the team.- Identify and reduce technical debt by contributing solutions and building business value arguments.- Plan and estimate features on the roadmap to determine the following sprint goals
