.We are looking for a talented IT Administrator Independent Contractor to join our experienced Technology team. In this role, you will manage various aspects of our IT environment, including Office 365 administration, helpdesk support, Azure VM management, onboarding/offboarding tasks, asset database management, VPNs, and basic cloud networking. This role will report to the Software Development Manager and will work cross-functionally with other members of the department and company.**Responsibilities**:- Provide helpdesk support to employees for IT-related issues, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and providing timely resolutions. Add in that the desktop support is to 35 US employees and 80 in the Philippines and Latin America.- Manage Azure VMs used by some employees, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.- Develop and manage onboarding and offboarding tasks for new and departing employees, including setting up accounts, access permissions, and equipment provisioning.- Maintain and implement a database of assets, including hardware, software licenses, and other IT resources.- Provide basic support for VPNs and assist with troubleshooting connectivity issues.- Assist with basic cloud networking tasks, such as configuring virtual networks and managing security groups.- Develop, suggest, and implement IT processes and protocols as needed to improve the efficiency of IT tasks.- Responsible for the local US hardware and Manila desktops until they all move to their own computers eventually.**Requirements**:- Strong English speaking and writing skills and experience with desktop support using online remote tools- Demonstrable experience either through past work, certifications, degrees, or other examples- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT administration or a related role.- Proficiency in Office 365 administration, including experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.- Strong understanding of Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) and experience with Azure administration.- Experience with helpdesk support and ticketing systems.- Knowledge of onboarding/offboarding processes and best practices.- Familiarity with asset management principles and tools.- Basic understanding of VPNs and networking concepts.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
