We are seeking an experienced Developer with a strong background in Java and AWS to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities: Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and secure applications using Java and AWS.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, architecture, and QA to define, design, and ship new features.Ensuring compliance with industry best practices, such as writing clean and efficient code, conducting peer reviews, and adhering to security standards.Investigating and resolving application issues, providing efficient fixes and enhancements, and assisting with the continuous integration and deployment process.Staying current on industry trends, technologies, and frameworks, and providing recommendations to improve existing applications and drive future development efforts.Participating in the regular SCRUM ceremonies.Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of experience in Java development, preferably with a focus on AWS and identity management services.Experience developing solutions using serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Azure serverless event-driven models) and developing scalable streaming/messaging solutions using cloud-based tools (AWS SNS/SQS preferred, Google Pub/Sub or Azure Service Bus).Experience working with identity management services, such as Okta, for authentication and authorization. Deep knowledge around commonly used security protocol standards.Data management experience including SQL tools like MySQL and Oracle Proficient and/or NoSQL cloud-based AWS DynamoDB or Azure CosmosDB.Solid knowledge of software development best practices, including object-oriented design, design patterns, and agile methodologies.Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker or Kubernetes).Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certified Developer - Associate or other relevant AWS certifications.Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks, such as JavaScript, Python, or Spring Boot.Location: MEX Work-at-Home
