What you will do:Builds, designs, and maintains all websites and software applications; Regulates exposure to business stakeholders and executive management as well as other authorities; Designs, writes, and edits website content; Understands UI,cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards; Creates solutions for identified problems or bugs; Communicates with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders daily; Executes assignments with the use of web applications, scripts, and programming languages such as Elixir, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs; Develops and validates test routines to ensure the quality of the external and internal interface; Plans and delivers software platforms and products across multiple organizational units; Designs assignments with web services like REST, SOAP, etc; Evaluates written code to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible with all devices; Maintains a professional understanding of web development by tracking trends and participating in study groups; Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership of new and different requests.Must haves:Be truly language agnostic, you need to be agile to pick up new languages and skills and deliver new solutions to unexpected problems; You have 4+ years of web development with expertise in Elixir; You have 4+ years of web development experience with expertise in JavaScript frameworks; You have 4+ years front-end development experience, with expertise in CSS and HTML with a focus on building complex layouts and meeting pixel-perfect design requirements; You have experience with building performant, responsive front-end components; You have a technical background with knowledge of engineering principles and design patterns; You are passionate about writing clean, modern, maintainable, & highly performant code; You have the proactive ability and a self-starter attitude to troubleshoot and solve problems; You have a positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach; You have experience working in an Agile team; You have self-awareness and a desire to continually improve; Upper-intermediate English level.Nice to haves:Experience with PHP and at least 1 major framework such as Laravel, Phalcon, Symfony, etc; Experience withTypeScript and at least 1 modern Frontend Web Framework such as VueJS, Angular or Svelte; Experience withServer-Side rendering in either Node.Js, Next.Js, or Hugo; Experience in e-commerce engineering; Experience withNextJS or Phoenix.AgileEngine is one of the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing companies in the US and a top-3 ranked dev shop according to Clutch.
