Responsibilities include; under general supervision, organize, coordinate and supervise the daily operations and activities of multiple production departments on multiple work shifts; and perform related work as assigned. This role is for 1st 7:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.Essential Functions:Lead and develop the production employee teamsEnsure tools, materials, drawings, and supplies are available to assure continuous operations, and obtain or requisition any essential items needed.Make frequent checks of work to maintain quality and quantity standards, and take proper corrective action in cases of faulty work, excessive scrap or production delay.Survey the plant during the shift and communicate any machine breakdown or machining troubles with other site management as appropriate.Review performance of shift employees periodically and make recommendations on transfers or other changes in status.Maintain discipline and harmonious relations, enforce good housekeeping, and adjust primary grievances in accordance with Company policy or collective bargaining agreement procedure.Prepare or check time, production, scrap, inventory, cost, efficiency or other reports and records required in connection with off shift operations, and attend supervisory or other meetings scheduled by management
