The Senior Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the plant, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the plant's operational and financial goals. This role involves managing budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial reporting processes while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Cost Management: Monitor and analyze plant costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost control measures. Conduct variance analysis and report findings to management.
- Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with plant management to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the plant's operational goals. Provide financial analysis and support for capital investment decisions.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the plant finance team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Audit and Compliance: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track plant financial performance. **Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in plant or manufacturing finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
