We reached profitability in 2020, reaching 10 million happy customers and over a billion dollars of sales in 2023.This RoleThe Senior Product Manager for the Identity Team will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of PayJoy's identity-related features. This role focuses on creating and maintaining secure, seamless, and user-friendly authentication and identity management systems (think of ID/selfie capture, KYC etc) for PayJoy's diverse customer base. The ideal candidate will ensure robust security measures while optimizing the customer experience.The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of authentication technologies, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a passion for improving financial inclusion through innovative product solutions.ResponsibilitiesCreate a roadmap to continuously improve PayJoy's identity platform in the following ways: A) Enhance the customer experience by improving the registration and login processes for all users across all geos and financial product offerings. B) Improve security to reduce fraud losses. C) Improve redundancy and reliability of our services.Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation, requirements gathering, development, testing, experiment launch, experiment read, and 100% scale up. Work closely with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure identity management solutions.Leverage data (independently write SQL queries) and customer feedback to constantly iterate and evolve product offerings.Be an internal champion on what's happening in the market (competition, regulation, new vendors/technologies) that can help improve the identity platform.Qualifications5+ years of product management experience.Experience building products from ideation to launch.Experience evaluating product decisions and prioritization trade-offs, leveraging large datasets to make data-driven product decisions, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders and large cross-functional teams.Demonstrated ability to lead and influence small teams of engineers towards a common goal.Ability to write basic SQL.Experience in high-growth startups.Experience in the identity space.PayJoy is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and we welcome and encourage people of all backgrounds.
