This role involves interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages, managing schedules and budgets, and overseeing general contractors and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.Responsibilities include reviewing construction work, assessing work-in-place, and approving capital expenditure spends, including the revision of cost estimates prepared by contractors and others within a client's organization. This professional will also be responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, directing, and controlling the delivery of the project on time.QualificationsEducation/Experience:Minimum of 10 years' experience as a project manager and at least 5 years working as a senior project manager for manufacturing plant construction projects.Sector experience in Logistics, Automotive, Manufacturing Plants, or other hi-tech industrial facilities construction projects.Experience in commissioning.Experience in LEED Projects is a plus.Engineering or architectural degree with chartered status.Experience in the Monterrey market is desired.Fluent in English and Spanish at a working level to lead meetings, prepare reports, and communicate with clients and suppliers.PMI or equivalent certification is a plus.Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM.Skills and Qualifications:Lead client and other required meetings, presenting updates to the client at all project stages.Stakeholder management: Lead local Client and report to the global team.Manage risks and control the risk register, conducting risk workshops as needed.Identify factors influencing construction costs and monitor this data.Issue reports as agreed with the Client.Conduct quality control validations for civil works in general.Support design management and review to identify construction methods opportunities.Support engineering decisions related to project cost and budget during design-build changes.Review requests for payment.Advocate for the client during disputes, disagreements, modifications, or change orders.Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.Track and ensure equipment meets the project schedule.Lead value engineering sessions as required.Oversee the transfer of building operations to the client, including all close-out documentation and warranties
