RoleThe Senior Publicist's role is to support the mission of the company by helping our clients become industry leaders. We create industry leaders by helping our clients get consistent press features and own the market share with the most amount of press features. The role of the Senior Publicist will be to manage the success of client accounts through media strategy, media outreach, media monitoring, consistent media, and client communication.ResponsibilitiesClient-centric mission - follow the client-centric mission to ensure we are moving towards our long-term outcomes.Develop and implement strategic client plans.Manage clients' media campaigns and media campaign tracker.Write and send press releases, media alerts, pitches, follow-ups, reporting, campaign fulfillment, etc.Secure and schedule interviews, track opportunities, and follow up with media across all platforms.Update the media opportunity tracker for own clients.Prioritize publicity team efforts.Lead PR delivery team.Study news and PR trends.Conduct competitor analysis for clients and the company.Develop and nurture productive relationships with clients, editors, reporters, bloggers, and influencers with whom the team regularly interacts.Maintain daily client communication through email and other software.ResultsGet clients press each and every week that is in alignment with their goals and the overall strategy.Increase awareness and affinity of our clients and improve their ROI on our services.All clients secure target media opportunities.Clients recognize the value of Publicity For Good services.Interviews are completed effortlessly by our clients and create the desired outcome.Achieve 80% or higher completion of all publicity department weekly commitments.Maintain awareness of all client accounts and good communication with the executive team and publicity team members.Requirements8+ years experience as a publicist.Leadership experience.Client-focused, remaining cordial with a growth/revenue mindset.Extreme ownership mentality.Urgency to complete work, priority-minded, excellent time management.Organizational skills and attention to detail.Creativity in all aspects of the job from content creation to client pitching.Possesses excellent writing and editing skills.High-level communication skills and responsiveness with team and clients.Adaptable to challenges that will arise.Team-oriented with a positive outlook.This job description is not all-inclusive, and certain activities, duties, or responsibilities may be required of the employee as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
