A PostgreSQL DBA is an expert in managing the PostgreSQL database system.Work Mode: Hybrid in Mexico CityResponsibilities:Create objects in the database such as triggers, indexes, etc.Monitor the performance of the database and ensure optimum performance.Identify potential issues in the database to solve them early.Hands-on experience in PostgreSQL migrations from other RDBMS.Hands-on experience in PostgreSQL native replications.Knowledge of Auto Vacuum jobs and customized VACUUM on certain tables and columns.Maintain backups and perform disaster recovery in case a disaster affects the database.Monitor security and prevent any unauthorized access to the database.Schedule consistent maintenance on the server.Provide best practice guidance to the development team.Resolve any production data issues.Manage tablespace.Develop automation technologies to accelerate the process of data loading.Develop relational databases.Manage user access and permissions by adding and removing users as required.Maintain the database using various utilities including pg_ctl and psql.Conduct database recovery.Handle installation and maintenance.Perform database administration, backups, performance tuning, security, data modeling, and troubleshooting.Knowledge and hands-on experience with Shell and Perl scripting.Available for 24x7 support and able to handle P1/P2 MI calls.#J-18808-Ljbffr
