.AWS Cloud Developers / AWS Cloud Enablement Engineers / AWS Cloud DevOps with EKS experience - Summary: Our engineers are engaged in supporting all phases of the software development lifecycle which include development, testing, and deployment.Primary functions are to design, develop, document, test and debug new tooling, pipeline configurations, best practices/processes, infrastructure connectivity and/or applications for internal use.This role is occupied by those who display expertise within their respective areas of specialization that enable them to lead and influence technical direction with an appropriate awareness of decision and resulting impacts on business and technical objectives.In addition, they have productive and solid working relationships with internal and third-party team members.Duties and Responsibilities:Influences technical direction for large scale, highly complex technical initiatives and/or projects requiring integration of cross-functional systems.Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them. Keeps management appropriately informed of progress and issues.Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning. Document and design various processes, update existing processes.Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on best practices and processes. Improve infrastructure development and application development.Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery. Test implemented designs. Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects.Actively mentor and contribute to the technical and soft skills development of internal and third-party teams. Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company.Minimum Education / Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree. 6+ years of Platform Engineering (AWS) experience demonstrating depth of technical and functional understanding with specific I/T discipline(s)/technology(s).Preferred Educational / Experience:4+ years of experience implementing AWS technologies and services3+ years of experience orchestrating and automating continuous delivery pipelines3+ years of experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure as code tools3+ years of experience working with container technologies and cloud deployments3+ years of experience integrating automated testing tools into delivery pipelinesExperience with setting Operation-level Strategy for deployment and Cloud infrastructureHands-on experience with CI tools such as Gitlab CI, Gradle, TerraformWorking experience with Linux or similar toolsTroubleshooting experience with cloud infrastructure and tools such as Kitchen, TerraTest, Python scripting, GoLang, NodeJS, Lambda, and EKS.Good EKS support and EKS cloud experience and knowledge is a must
