Satisfactory driver's motor vehicle record required.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITYRepair, assembly and troubleshooting of Husky hot runners and controllersProvide observations, feedback, measurement data, and recommendations to factory support for next actions toward resolution and warranty determinationLead small group training sessions at customer facilities focused on hot runner and controller maintenance, operation, and troubleshootingReview molding process parameters to optimize part quality and overall mold performanceComplete service reports to document hours, observations, and resultsSupport customers remotely via phone and emailProvide service estimates as well as support the collection of purchase orders from customers for support providedWork closely with parts and Sales teams to ensure customer satisfactionManage schedule for on-site visits to customersQUALIFICATIONSDegree in plastics or relevant technical college diploma preferred but not required2+ years of mechanical assembly and/or troubleshooting required5+ years injection molding experience, maintenance, and/or repair preferred2+ years as a process technician within the plastics machinery atmospherePrevious experience with Husky hot runners (or similar) strongly preferredPrevious customer support experience strongly preferredHot runner and/or controller assembly, repair, and troubleshooting experience or proven strong mechanical aptitudeExperience in the use of measuring tools including electrical multi-meter, bore gauge, and micrometerBasic understanding of the elements of mold designExcellent communication and documentation skillsKnowledge/understanding of Office suite of programsStrong communication skills and customer service orientationMust be able to travel, stand on feet for longer periods of time and lift 30+ lbsMust be able to speak and write in EnglishADDITIONAL DETAILSWe would like the candidate to be based out of Tijuana or Mexicali - Mexico.Husky Technologies TM offers a competitive compensation and benefits package and excellent opportunities for growth and advancement
