**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Assuming full control of the physical security of company personnel and assets;
- Ensure that all security personnel perform all their tasks and duties as described in internal procedures.
- Provide the necessary information to the security agents to carry out their activities according to the instructions and orders given by the Plant Management.
- Responsible for the administration and operation of the surveillance camera system, recording system control, access system and surveillance patrols, and all other equipment used in the security department.
- Responsible for the control of the inventory of keys, keeping the inventory updated.
- Responsible for controlling access to employees, in coordination with Human Resources.
- Performs inspection of the entire building to identify risk factors related to security. Write a report and submit corrective actions to Management.
- Write complete incident reports, regarding vandalism, accidents and any other type of incident.
- Assist departments involved in coordinating emergency procedures for the building and site.
- Assist the head of the emergency, health and safety and environment brigade in all activities related to emergency procedures.
- Ensure inventory control, circulation lists, records, documents, equipment and information under their responsibility.
- Encourage, supervise, coordinate and carry out the initial and continuous training of security personnel and employees.
- Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the clean desk policy.
- Coordinates inspection of incoming and outgoing trailers at the plant and in the yard.
- Conducts drug screenings as requested.
- Establish contacts and communications with external resources such as police, fire, health and emergency department.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in SECURITY, CRIMINOLOGY AND/OR PUBLIC POLICY or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of C-TPAT-OAS certifications
- Knowledge of the use of CCTV systems, ACCESS CONTROL AND MASTER KEY
- More than 5 years of experience in the same position
- Bilingual English - Spanish (Desirable)
