As an engineering leader, we expect you to raise the bar for the entire engineering organization - whether through best engineering practices, operational excellence, development process or shared code contributions.**Basic Qualifications**- 6 to 10+ years distributed service engineering experience in a software development environment- 2 to 4+ years of managing software engineering teams and/or projects- Development experience in a modern programming language, such as Java, C++, C#- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and operating public cloud service control planes- Deep understanding of object-oriented design specifically within a cloud environment- Experience working closely with architects, principals, product and program managers to deliver product features on time and with high quality.- Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.- Deep understanding and hands on experience of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies
