Important North American technology company with great advances and patents in the telecommunications area and worldwide presence is looking for members for its next Software Engineering team in Tijuana.Responsibilities:Build infrastructure as code using Terraform.Build, create, and enable Kubernetes clusters (GCP/AWS/Azure/RKE).Manage and performance-tune databases (NIFI, Elasticsearch) or streaming data pipelines (Kafka).Manage and create CICD pipelines, configuration, and automation tools for infrastructure provisioning.Write and maintain runbooks for knowledge-driven automated processes and bots.Do capacity planning based on performance, usage, and utilization stats.Partner with developers and quality engineering teams to automate monitoring, alerting, availability, and scalability of applications and systems.Ensure system availability and business continuity by implementing redundant servers/services.Manage after-hours infrastructure updates and maintenance.Proactively research and propose the use of new concepts, processes, technologies, and tools.Proactive monitoring, diagnosis, on-call rotation, and resolution of issues in a 24x7 multi-cloud environment (OpenStack), analyze failures and provide support for software engineers to debug production issues across microservices and distributed platforms.Follow SRE's best practices and procedures.Qualifications:Strong experience with at least one of the following technologies: Go, Python, or Java.Experience or knowledge in managing infrastructure.Experience or knowledge in Linux administration.Experience maintaining production systems on AWS, OpenStack, Azure, and GCP.Experience managing Kubernetes in a production environment.Strong familiarity with RDBs and NoSQL databases.Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, NIFI, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Vertica, Zookeeper, and IaC (Terraform).Proficiency in infrastructure as code software (e.G., Terraform, AWS/Google Cloud Deployment, CloudFormation).Experience in continuous integration practices and tools (Jenkins).Familiarity with monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.#J-18808-Ljbffr
