Job Responsibilities Work in an agile environment with a team of engineers to create products and services, and enhance existing solutions and workflows. Develop clean, high-quality code and automated tests to verify its operation. Deploy solutions independently and provide technical recommendations to the team. Organize and collaborate across teams in Brightcove to scope and deliver new functionality. Provide operational support for Brightcove applications. Adopt a team player approach by doing what needs to be done, cheering each other on, and celebrating success. Qualifications/Experience 2+ years of front-end software engineering. 1+ years of experience working with React. 1+ years of experience working with NodeJS, Express. 1+ years developing containerized, self-scaling backend infrastructure. Experience with REST and API design. Experience with Agile methodologies. Positive attitude with an open mind to learning new ways of working and collaborating - team player with determination and innovative thinking. Demonstrable experience developing, deploying and supporting scalable back-end services. Experience delivering and supporting high scale SaaS. Knowledge in performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices. Familiar with continuous integration and deployment infrastructure for web apps is a plus.
