Risk Engineering works to protect Square and our customers $200B+ in annual payments processed across 4B sales transactions from fraud and disputes. It also acts as a trusted partner in preventing fraud globally.The Scams team focuses on fraudsters using Square services to further scams. On this team you will build systems to protect the reputation of Square and its sellers, detect and address fraudulent accounts, and improve the impact of controls on Square sellers.
