The software validation engineer will be responsibr developing a validation test specification and plan along with the necessary test cases to ensure adequate software system level validation is performed on time and within budget.Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze product requirements.Creation of system level test specificationDevelop system level test plan ensuring adequate coverage of test cases against available system / software requirements.Creation and execution of system level test plan and test cases (manual and automated) to ensure traceability of the test cases against the corresponding software requiremenr each product build / release.Develop the individual test cases and ensure the of the test cases. Test cases must be complete, unambiguous, and determinativeEnsure the proper execution of the test cases and deliver test results / reports as required including reporting of bugsProperly document teilures allow up with root cause activities on the test case side as well with the developers as necessary including the triage of bugs with stakeholdersMaintain test bench including mechanical, software and tools elements (automatedtesting suites, scripts, DUTs etc.)Lead enhancements to improve testing capabilities including new hardware, techniques and process improvements.Manage test status, and progress while communicating status and issues to the software development team.Work with individuals across multiple domains (software engineering, hardware engineering, systems engineering, software verification, software validation, system integration testing, manufacturing, management, project management) as required.This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may require other job duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary.
