And if that's you we would love to have you join us!**Job Description**:Job Scope:Leading a team of Commodity Managers and Buyers, develop, implement, and manage global sourcing strategies and supply for a portfolio of commodities. Achieve year-on-year improvement in total cost, quality, and service while leading regional and global supply management activities including risk mitigation and managing supplier relationships for a portfolio of commodities. Leadership of cross-functional strategic sourcing teams and accountable for execution and implementation of Commodity Sourcing Strategies.Plans and implements activities related to procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels. Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities, and outside services, as well coordinating global procurement efforts. May work with customers in auditing customer inventory levels and with internal and external vendors to comply with inventory policies. Hires, develops, and evaluates performance of employees.Key Responsibilities:- With guidance from the Director Strategic Sourcing, develop the sourcing strategy for assigned commodities, using input from the sourcing team and key global/regional stakeholders within the business units. The sourcing strategy will drive the continuous improvement of Rockwell's Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the assigned commodities.- Drive implementation of the sourcing strategy for assigned commodities. Once a sourcing strategy has been developed, the Manager will communicate, monitor, and aggressively manage business unit compliance of the strategy. The Manager will also establish working relationships with other functions (e.G., Engineering, Plant Operations, Supplier and Product Quality, etc.), bringing a Strategic Sourcing perspective to all key processes.- Leadership of strategic sourcing teams. The Manager will lead and drive results of specific strategic sourcing strategies within assigned commodities and must be successful at managing and influencing a cross-functional team.
