What's the role?Main ResponsibilitiesPerform updates in our maps and products based on spatial and non-spatial sources. This includes analyzing the data in our maps and representing the reality in the digitized databases following pre-defined procedures represented in the Documentation of processes, Product Specifications, Customer Requirements, etc.Analyze and interpret what source inputs indicate and compare them with the existing database to determine if an update is needed to the current database.For new map data found in sources, update the database using the appropriate code and tools by following our documented processes.Perform quality checks on data input to test the validity of data. This is completed with the assistance of more experienced Spatial Data Analysts.Participate in team meetings or agile ceremonies to discuss and share the status of the tasks, blockers, best practices & lessons learned.EnvironmentWork is carried out according to specific instructions, procedures, and defined processes. Requires active supervision and coaching from manager/team leader or peers.ScopeIndividual contributorImpact Decision MakingAccountable for quality and accuracy of own tasks. Errors may have a limited impact on own team.Who are you?Position RequirementsBachelor's degree (3 years college/polytechnic education) or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.Good Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office suite.Ability to learn new concepts in a self-paced setup (learning by reading or watching videos).Exposure to mapping technologies, software, and GIS concepts is very desirable.Excellent orientation to details.Good analytical and logical skills.Ability to read, write & understand instructions in English.Ability to hold a basic conversation in English.Good team player.Willingness to work in shifts.Who are we?HERE Technologies is a location data and technology platform company.
