**We will count on you to**:
- Perform code reviews and align the solutions to architectural specifications.
- Work with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business-impacting projects.
- Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions.
- Support deployments or troubleshoot production issues outside of work hours and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes.
- Develop efficient methods to reuse existing components.
- Strong experience in program design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation under general supervision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business requirements.
- Strong team skills to gain credibility with business users, stakeholders, and must possess the ability to work with other IT team members to ensure solid cross-functional decisions are made by the team.
- Provides support in configuration, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle.
- Prepare Oracle Functional, Technical Design documents and Unit test documents for the related areas.
**What you need to have**:
- At least 8 years of experience in IT as a software developer
- Ability to speak **Spanish **and English fluently.
- Knowledge in Oracle Application Financial Modules - Payables, Receivables, General Ledger and iExpenses & iProcurement. Specifically, **Latam localizations.**:
- Excellent knowledge in PL/SQL and Unix Shell Script
- Experience in developing and customizing Oracle XML Publisher Reports, Workflow, WebADI.
- Oracle Application Framework developments, Business Events and Bursting
- Oracle Database and Performance Tuning
- Ability to work on Interfaces & Extensions
- SCM tools - GitHub, JIRA
- Should have good experience of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
- Experience in various project methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Waterfall, RUP, Scrum and Agile)
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Good communicator & presentation skills to senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proven history of successful problem solving with a sense of urgency.
- Expertise in other programming languages e.g. Java, Python (preferred)
- Experience in Oracle 12.2 Upgrade (Not essential)
