**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:
- Analyze and execute the messages indicated in the purchase order system.
- Analyze the supplier's responses in the raw material purchase order issuance report generated weekly by the MRP system.
- Negotiates and maintains constant communication with suppliers about the delivery dates that need to be expedited and keeps the system updated, making sure that the established delivery dates are met.
- Daily communication with the Materials Planning area to keep them informed about raw material deliveries.
- Responsible for acquiring RMA's from suppliers for non-conforming materials reported for quality and answering the quality system.
- In coordination with Quality Assurance, ensures compliance with procedures, standards and specifications established in the quality management system related to the position.
- Stay in sync with the safety regulations applicable in the company.

**For this role you will need**:
- **Knowledge of Electromechanical Components**:This includes understanding their functionalities, specifications, and potential substitutes.
- **Knowledge of Inventory Management**:Effective inventory management skills are key. You'll have to be able to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and optimize ordering schedules to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
- **Communication**:Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with internal teams (engineering, production) and external suppliers.
- **Problem-Solving**:Being able to identify and solve problems related to material procurement is important. This could involve finding alternative suppliers, dealing with unexpected delays, or resolving quality issues.
- **Organization and Time Management**:These skills are important to ensure all procurement needs are met efficiently.
- **Adaptability**:The manufacturing environment can be dynamic, so the ability to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions is crucial.
- **Spanish/English Language Skills**:Bilingual proficiency can be a significant advantage to communicate appropriately with suppliers and co-workers at other sites.
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart**:
- B.S. or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Accounting, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Confirmed experience in similar position in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of MRP systems (Oracle highly desirable).
- Desirable knowledge in Lean Manufacturing Methodologies
- Experience in purchasing and negotiating with suppliers.
- Knowledge in project management.
- Bilingual, oral and written, in English and Spanish.
- Quick and active reaction to solve problems affecting performance indicators.
- Collaboration and good teammate.
