At Experis IT, we are looking for a SR Data Scientist to work under a hybrid scheme. In this role, the Data Scientist will work in Power Delivery IT, perform analysis to uncover new insights from work management logs, asset telemetry, and other types of data. Additionally, they will work with business process owners and developers to help them operationalize automations related to their investigations.
Responsibilities: This position is responsible for developing algorithms, modeling techniques, and optimization methods that support many aspects of NextEra and FPL business.People in this role use knowledge of machine learning, optimization, statistics, and applied mathematics along with abilities in software engineering with a focus on distributed computing and data storage infrastructure (e.g., "Big Data").Develops machine learning, optimization, and other modeling solutions.Prepares comprehensive documented observations, analyses, and interpretations of results including technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.Qualifications: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.2+ years proven experience working as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or Sr. Developer working in Data Science, in a professional setting.Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python (Java optional), as well as experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).Solid mathematical and statistical foundations, with knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and optimization techniques.Pluses: Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka) and working with large-scale datasets.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply critical thinking to understand complex problems and develop innovative solutions.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.Familiarity with renewable energy, power systems, or the utilities industry is a plus.Demonstrated passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and the pursuit of clean technology solutions.We offer: 100% payrollSuperior law benefitsSr Data ScientistSueldo: $60,000 MXN - $70,000 MXN Mensual
