**Academic qualification**
- Desired: BE Electrical Engineering
Experience
- Relevant: 10-12 years in Electrical Project Installation and Commissioning.
- Knowledge of PLC and PLC controls will be an added advantage.
**Technical skills**
- Should have capability and experience to supervise laying of cables, their cable tray
securing arrangements, looping structure, cramping ends, and integration with the Control
Panels
- Must understand the arrangement of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakers, wires, and
cables for equipment in the system, and the switchgear in panels and the basis of the
calculations.
Must be familiar with Installation and startup requirements for Motors.
- Well versed with all panel building and wiring details.
- Must be familiar with IO lists/SPP/Earthing pits measurements.
- Hands on hardware (wiring) experience on Siemens/Schneider/Allen Bradley PLC, HMI.
- hands on experience on Danfoss VFD installation and programming
- having knowledge of DOL, star delta starter operation and wiring
- Able to read and understand PLC, MCC panel power wiring and control wiring diagram,
terminal details.
- Able to identify and troubleshoot faults in PLC/MCC panels.
- having experience of MCC, PLC panel commissioning at site
- Having experience in installation and commissioning of site electrical equipment motor,
level transmitter, flow transmitter, conductivity/PH analyzer, level switches, pressure
transmitter/switches etc.
- Familiarity with Mexican and Diageo Electrical Standards will be useful.
- Must be familiar with Electrical Safety Standards.
- Should have a clear grasp of IO lists.
Their interpretation and usages.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Attend Tool Box Meetings and give directions to the teams undertaking the electrical jobs.
- Should assist the Concord Safety Officer to prepare electrical and cable RAMS.
- Will handle the Installation and Commissioning of all Electrical, PLC and Automation
Systems in the WWTP/WRP/WTP in accordance with the detailed P&IDs
- Understand the provisions in the Control Panels and ensure installations are done correctly and meet design criteria.
Supervise the layout of Panels and system specifications for the panels.
Must ensure vendor makes the Control Panel Room safe for operations with
insulation integrity.
- Able to understand cable tray route shown in layout and cable schedule and accordingly
need to do site work and cable termination.
- able to maintain documentation during plant trial/Site Acceptance Trial
- Must assist in IQ/OQ trials.
- Participate in Diageo Project Review Meetings and make presentations as may be needed.
- Must have a clear understanding of safe electrical engineering practices to be followed.
- Interpret specifications, drawings, and regulations for the use of electric power equipment where required.
- Make an Inventory of all incoming electrical materials and organize for their issuance with
the help of the storekeeper.
- Make sure that completed works meet specifications and safety standards.
- Contribute and adhere to the safety requirements of the operation.
- Check the completeness of earthing pits.
Measure and record PDs
- Check SPP /VFD settings.
- Will be required to attend to the panel and installation problems of WWTP/WTP/WRP that
may arise and solve them in consultation with the Project Manager and the vendors.
**Salary**: $1,200.00 - $2,000.00 per month
