Strategic Customs Intern

**Objective of the position**

The holder of this position provides support in all matters related to Customs and Foreign Trade related, systems and logistics/production systems and processes related to Customs

**Principal activities**
- Provides several reports from different sources (A24, HOST, Glosa, etc) of all Mexican legal entities (DCM, DIM, DPM,DPA, DTP) to help with KPI analisis, including: Daily inventory reports from Annex24 (CAM / ARANXEL), reports of catalogs, archive and conversion of monthly GLOSA reports, daily export reports, INEGI reports for Finance department, etc.
- Supports, coordinate and review collection of different customers documents (NAFTA certs, Positive Opinion from suppliers and also from DCM, DPM, DIM, DPA, DTP, etc)
- Supports with the legal archive of Foreign trade Operations
- Provides support (DCM/DPM/DPN) in all topics related to Annex24 information setup (raw materials, finished goods, etc), provides substitute materials whenever it is needed by Operations area.
- Work accordingly with the SCM teams to get the forecasts of products part numbers in advance for Customs system setup.
- Work accordingly with Brokers in all matters related to goods classification (gathers and provides evidence, technical information, pictures, etc whenever there is a new setup in system).
**Requirements**:

- Active student
- Education: Business, Economics, LIN, IT or related degree.
- Relevant experience: Maquiladora Industry, Customer Service, IT experience.

- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Logistics
- SCM Concepts
- Annex 24, Annex 31
- **Languages**: Intermediate English
