Supplier Quality Engineer

.Descripción y detalle de las actividadesAreas of responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Works with Purchasing and Engineering personnel and suppliers on APQP and with cross-functional teams to meet customer deadlines on new program launchesAudits suppliers and identifies opportunities for improvements with the supply-baseFollows up on Supplier compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF-16949 requirements and Judco Quality RequirementsApproves Supplier PPAP's and Run-at-RatesEvaluates Supplier Quality Issues utilizing appropriate Problem-Solving techniquesTracks Supplier Performance (Quality, OTD, Service, Etc.)Manage the Judco RMA systemManage the supplier's claims and concernsEnsures timely and effective closure of Supplier CARs (Corrective Action Requests)Full understanding of Judco Supply Chain Requirements and develop a Supplier Manual and/or proceduresEnsures Supplier IMDS submissions are completed in a timely mannerContributes to Continual Improvement and cost reduction activities, both in general and specifically related to individual dutiesRespond to customer requirements and acts as a Customer-Judco-Supplier liaison when neededAssist in the investigation and resolution of Customer Corrective and Preventive actions in a timely mannerReports out and actively participate in addressing internal quality issues (monitor scrap on a monthly basis and help team to identify and address top quality issues)Monitor and report out weekly/monthly Key Performance Indicators related with Suppliers base and initiate appropriate action if gaps are identifiedTracking and reporting of cost related to supplier cost recovery and cost of non-quality
