This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network.
The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications.
The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.Purpose:Ensure the optimal configuration and customization of the supply planning system, enabling flexibility and agility in planning processes.
The Supply Planning Power User will act as a key liaison between the supply chain business teams and the IT department, providing advanced system support, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring that the planning system aligns with evolving business needs to deliver value.Responsibilities:Customize planning system fields, workflows, and parameters to meet evolving business needs.Collaborate with supply chain planners to implement custom reports, dashboards, and system views for better visibility and decision-making.Track system usability metrics, perform root cause analysis and propose solutions to ensure system continues to deliver value.Maintain and configure master data to reflect real-time operational changes.Work closely with IT to ensure that system changes align with overall architecture and security policies.Monitor system performance and proactively suggest optimizations to improve system response times, accuracy, or planning efficiency.Identify opportunities for automation within the system and collaborate with IT to implement these improvements.Support patches, upgrades, and integrations with other enterprise applications (e.G., ERP, MES, WMS, Data Lake).Serve as the bridge between business users and IT, translating business needs into technical requirements.Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field.1-3 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or system support roles in manufacturing or logistics.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and user stories
