SW Integration & Testing Within Connected Vehicle SoftwareResponsibilitiesA SW Integration Testing Trainee is a junior engineer or last semester Under Graduate student in Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronics or Computer Science Engineering major who will join an established section within a CVS SES department (SW Engineering Services) to aid in problem resolution and test execution on assigned sprints, including Sagas and Epics, to complete a subsystem validation towards a specific SW release date for single to multiple ECUs.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics or SW Engineering required, or enrolled in the last 2 semesters.1-3 Years Experience in PD either as a trainee in another SW company / Automotive Supplier or OEM. University project with Systems Engineering / Embedded SW and Technical Stay at Faculty is relevant – Please provide on resume your SW matricula and Mechatronics Projects where you have participated.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English & Spanish (open, clear, and inclusive).Outstanding leadership skills with demonstrated ability to quickly integrate within an existing team cell.Matlab Scripting or Python Programming skills.Knowledge of Autotest for Test execution within a HIL (Hardware in the Loop), SIL (SW in the Loop), or MIL (Model in the Loop) Environment.JIRA / JIRA Align / Test Rail basic knowledge to monitor and solve daily needs for ongoing SW testing requirements on Epics & Sagas within a Sprint.Knowledge of Agile methodology Framework.Ability to prioritize workload managing immediate and future needs.Ability to build strong effective relationships with cross-functional teams: Core & applications teams, Vehicle Hardware Engineering, as well as mechatronics components being tested on HIL, i.E., Exterior/Interior Systems, Underbody Chassis Controls, Powertrain & Driveline, and Electrical & Electronics Systems.Strong technical capability and problem-solving skills.Fundamentals and working knowledge of PD Processes (Define / Development / Validation / Testing & Launch support).Ford Motor Company is an equal opportunity employer committed to a culturally diverse workforce.
