**System Engineer**:
- Location: Ramos Arizpe, MX, CP 25903- Country/Region: MX**About the position**:
System engineer will be responsible for interface between KA R&D and Program management with the Customer, Main task is to identify & evaluate customer needs and to propose System, Products and Service solutions to Customer and to the KA PM & R&D team. In addition, is responsible to give technical support for Customers and KA Program managers, sales on System & products to assure smooth and correct development of KA projects.
**Responsibilities**:
- Technical support to Customers and to KA Program managers locally, sales and Globally when required.
- Identify & evaluate system and components opportunities at the customer for KA.
- Support central R&D with local requirements for new product development.
- Propose system solutions to market by creating ideas, pushing KA R&D to design and make prototypes for customer evaluation.
- Present to Customers Those System & Products ideas to Customer
- Execute trial installation on customer vehicles of KA products and Systems proposals
- Organize Technical workshops with Customer R&D teams to show new Systems & Products
- Support KA to get new business by searching new opportunities, ideas, and being informed by customer strategies, new vehicles & systems developments plans and contents.
- Completion of development engineering tasks as identified in Kongsberg Product Development processes (KBD-NPI & PIP)
- Support the development of new products that support Kongsberg Automotive's Strategic Plan
- Contribute to department and project performance according to valid routines, process and standards.
- Insure completion of design documents and properly file into appropriate project folders
- Co-ordinate and manage samples manufacturing within production plants, including procurement of Tier II manufactured components.
**Requirements**:
**Desirable**
- Background in Automotive Engineering
- Electro-mechanical & control systems engineering experience
- Degree in Mechanical / Electro Mechanical engineering
- Experience on product simulation FEA & CFD is considered as high advantage
- LEAN principles / Business Improvement Techniques
- Prior mechanism assembly design experience
- Foreign language knowledge or skills is an advantage
