And we're passionate down to our bones about making whatever you're listening to a little more magical.The engineering team at Bose is a thriving, passionate, deeply skilled team of professionals from a broad range of disciplines and experiences, who share a common goal—to create products that provide transformative sound experiences.**Job Description**:RESPONSIBILITIES- Support and maintenance of open-source programming like Python and C# to implement validation infrastructure; provide expertise and train others on communication interface like GPIB, TCP/IP, RS232.- Test Stand and Python.- Support SW DQE engineers with tools used for automated testing of audio and vehicle networks; collaborating with multifunctional teams to measure and evaluate audio parameters and network communications; work with vendors and internal teams to define and deliver customized test systems/devices.- Responsible for Lab and test equipment control including calibrations, inventories, 5S and others.- Support hardware and software interface that communicates with automotive bus like CAN, MOST, Ethernet AVB and A2B in test systems; work with third party vendors to define network communication devices required for test systems.SKILLS REQUIRED- Good understanding of electrical engineering principles- Effective communication and critical thinking skills.- Initiative-taking, work well in a team as well as independently.- Familiar with analyzing signals on an Oscilloscope and configuring Function Generators- Proficient level of English language (verbal and written) to allow effective technical discussions with staff at R&D, suppliers, and customers.SKILLS PREFERRED- Knowledge of C/C++, MATLAB, and Microsoft Office- Basic knowledge of audio and Digital Signal Processing- Familiar with National Instruments technologies such as LabVIEW and Test Stand- Familiar with automotive networks, such as CAN, MOST, RS-485 and Ethernet AVBEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE- BS or MS in Computer Engineering (preferred) or Computer Science- 1+ years of relevant experienceIf you believe you need a reasonable accommodation, please send a note to
