.DNV is looking for a Technical Manager to join the Business Assurance team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering certification and accreditation services by overseeing resources, technical skills, and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include maintaining DNV's high standards in auditor performance, managing accreditations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding compliance with applicable standards. Your expertise will provide essential guidance to our auditors, support operational processes, and ensure consistent, reliable service that meets our clients' changing needs. This role will report to the Country Manager and be based in our DNV office in Mexico City. What You'll Do Ensure adequate staffing and resource capacity to deliver certification services effectively. Manage the technical competencies and qualifications of auditors within the team. Provide technical support for Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and Food & Beverage (F&B) certification schemes, including overseeing subcontract auditors. Oversee accreditation management and ensure compliance with relevant standards, including technical reviews and certificate issuance. Lead quality and risk management initiatives, ensuring adherence to DNV's quality management system. Implement Global Operations directives locally, focusing on resources, technical requirements, and auditor competence. Manage customer satisfaction, addressing client inquiries and resolving complaints effectively. Drive financial performance to meet or exceed business objectives. Communicate certification and standards requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, TL 9000) from the MSC Global Technical Hub to the local team. Support Operations and Sales with technical questions related to MSC and local certification schemes. Provide clients with technical information and guidance as needed. Participate in witness audits and support audit delivery as applicable. Assist in recruiting and onboarding new auditors, including qualification approvals and capacity planning. Provide ongoing training and updates for auditors to maintain consistency and meet industry standards. Oversee the delivery of annual training requirements and support accreditation body audits as necessary. Additional responsibilities may be required as needed. What is Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.Minimum of five (5) years of experience with relevant certification schemes, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, and IATF.Ability to interpret technical requirements and accreditation standards, applying them to industry-specific administrative and technical documentation reviews.Demonstrates high initiative, a positive attitude, attention to detail, adaptability to change, and the ability to perform well under pressure and tight deadlines with minimal supervision, ensuring quality results
