Meraki is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager for driving highly cross-functional cloud engineering programs across diverse teams.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will work closely with our Engineering, Product Management, and other teams to shepherd projects through all phases of development.
You will be responsible for:
Leading highly multi-functional programs for Meraki's Dashboard, cloud backend, and SREManaging programs, including APIs, test quality and code coverage, meeting patching SLAs, internal developer enablement, building device management solutions, authentication and authorization, product integration with other Cisco products, private cloud scaling, supporting new regions and compliance regimes, component maturity, and framework upgradesLeading requests & technical dependencies from both internal Meraki and broader Cisco teamsSupporting engineering teams in inter-team requests and alignment on larger initiativesBuilding and driving program plans with well-led dependencies and partner alignmentImplementing and tracking program work, achievements, action items, technical dependencies, risks, and mitigation plansConducting root cause analysis on failure/bugs to propose changes to prevent future occurrencesDriving opportunities for improvement after key project completionWorking with engineers, product managers, and other program managers to help define prioritiesUnderstanding product use cases and communicating technically with engineering and product teamsDeveloping strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to best understand and deliver on business goals and prioritiesPreparing program status reports and executive briefings for various partner groupsAdhering to metrics and governance for Meraki's process and driving process improvementsDriving Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and Quality Reviews for the Cloud teamYou are ideal for this role if you have:
Bachelors or higher degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience in software engineering5 years of demonstrated ability as Project Manager in software, hardware, embedded, networking, cloud technologies or products3 years of proven experience as a Project Manager specifically in software products and cloud backend technologiesProven ability to thrive in highly multi-functional environments and effectively collaborate with diverse teamsStrong understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologiesExcellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsExperience working with project planning tools (Jira, Wrike, Confluence, Google Docs)Appetite for rapid changes and comfort with navigating through uncertain/ambiguous situationsExperience working in an agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc…) environmentAt Cisco Meraki, we're challenging the status quo with the power of diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.
