.**Technical Program Manager**Mexico -RemoteThe Allen Institute for AI (AI2), a Seattle-based non-profit, is looking for a technical project manager to help drive AI2's EarthRanger wildlife conservation project.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.- Decompose complex product features into specific use cases and detailed technical requirements that are ready for development- Create and execute on roadmaps, project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables.- Coordinate and monitor development team workflows to ensure cohesion and efficiency- Maintain a strong understanding of the feature pipeline and your team's work capacity- Evaluate and refine team process to empower team members to deliver high-quality work- Engage with customers, including product partners, vendors and technical stakeholders to better understand the product and their needs- Work with support and training teams to prepare users to take advantage of new product developments- Identifies opportunities and leads efforts to improve program methodology excellence and best practices within the product**Qualifications**- Experience in managing Agile software development projects, software development life cycle and quality processes, such as scoping, costs, schedules, deliverables, change and risk management, and mitigation- Deep intuitive sense for building effective software products that exceed users' expectations- Strong technical aptitude. Can converse with technical partners, development team, and QA engineers at a highly technical level.- Experience breaking down user stories into development deliverables- A strong delivery focus and the willingness perform all tasks required to complete the job and meet deadlines- Strong presentation and training delivery experience- Well organized, detailed planning and scheduling expertise. Can juggle multiple tasks without losing sight of high priority items.- Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills to effect the right outcome for the team/customer. Ability to influence and motivate people across a broad variety of job functions.- Experience developing SaaS offerings- Use of Project Management Software (Jira, SmartSheets or similar)- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical discipline- 8+ years in technical program management in a related industry, OR equivalent combination of education and experience- Must be passionate about nature and wildlife conservation!**Qualifications**- Driven the development of a project using a map based approach with real-time aspects.- Proven results from establishing and optimizing software engineering processes for different organizations/environments- Previous global program management experience working with highly matrixed teams
